Jack Lee Walton

Jack Lee Walton, 78, passed away on August 8, 2017, in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Jack was born August 14, 1938 in Warsaw, Indiana. Jack grew up in Muncie, Indiana, where he attended Central High School. Upon graduation, he served four years in the United States Air Force at Webb Air Force Base in Big Spring, Texas, where he was a jet aircraft mechanic. He returned to Muncie, where he was employed by Westinghouse for thirty-five years as a plant mechanic.Ever the prankster, Jack had a wonderful sense of humor, which will be sorely missed. He enjoyed stamp and coin collecting, all types of music, photography, and fun cars.In April of 2017, he grew a beard and moved to Colorado, where he spent his last months near his children and grandchildren. Jack was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Walton; granddaughter, Rian Walton;father,Stanley Eugene Walton; mother, Hettie Marie (Lykins) Kerr; brother, Richard Eugene Walton; andbrother, Michael Howard Walton. He is survived by three sisters, Barbara Walton, Carolyn McShurley, and Susie Ohnheiser;son Ron (LuAnn) Walton; daughter, Cynthia (Marty) Klaiber; daughter, Jackie (Daren) Murray; as well as three grandchildren, Chris, Lauren, and Jenna.The family held a private service in Colorado Springs.
