Denise Kay Rochholz Fernandez

Denise Kay Fernandez, 59, lost her battle with pancreatic cancer on June 25, 2017 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was born to Lyle Dean and Helen (Vock) Rochholz on August 1, 1957 in Paris, France.Denise grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia and Colorado Springs. She was a 1975 graduate of Cornado High School. Denise married Michael Wright in 1975 and was blessed with two sons. They were married twenty-three years. She worked for Hewlett-Packard until 2000.In 2000, she met Joe Fernandez, Jr. and on May 6, 2000, they were married and they moved to Florida, where they lived for six years. After moving back to Colorado Springs, Denise worked briefly for Ford Motors and then became a CNA for Right at Home.Denise enjoyed bowling, scrapbooking, going to the beach, photography, and playing with her granddaughters. While growing up, she was a Girl Scout and loved baton twirling.
