He was born in Pueblo, Colorado on October 6, 1971 to Santiago Ramon Vigil and Maria Dolores Gutierrez.Duane worked as a hammer operator for a manufacturing company.He is survived by his son, Jesse Vigil; his daughter, Julia Vigil; stepsons, Nile and Chaise Webber; his father, Santiago Vigil; his mother, Maria Miller; brothers, Ken (Christine) Vigil and Jerome (Felice) Vigil; a sister, Sandi (David) Wood; his granddaughter, Izavella Rosina Reyes; and his nieces and nephews, Benjamin Vigil, Cassandra Winzel, Brylee Wood, Cerina Vigil, Dominic Wood, Santiago Vigil, Gabriel Vigil, and Michaela Vigil.
