James P. Cardenas

James P. Cardenas, age 87, has been called to his eternal home. The good Lord determined that he had satisfied his mission here on earth, and call for him May 2, 2017.He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cordelia Cardenas. They were married on October 3, 1950.He is survived by his children; Kathy English, Nancy Middleditch, Sandra (Larry) Lingerfelt and James E. Cardenas; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is also preceded in death by his sisters; Bernice Vasquez, Evangalina Sanchez, Olivamas King, Emelina Maes, Elevina Vasquez and brother; Richard Cardenas.He honorably served in the U.S. Army, and retired from Civil Services at the Air Force Academy. James loved his family and his pets. His hobbies were traveling, camping and fishing.
