Dale E. Willits of Colorado Springs, CO, devoted and beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle passed peacefully in his home on May 12, 2024 at age 99.
Dale was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years, Dulcie; parents, Grant and Mildred Willits; siblings, Robert Willits and Rena May Lawson; and his first wife Elva Hemmingsen Willits.
He is survived by his five children, son William (Irene), daughter Deborah (Daniel), son Brian (Kathy), son Craig (Kelly), and son Mark (Kathy); six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; five nieces; two nephews; friends, and neighbors.
Dale was a Master Mechanic for over 30 years at Marksheffel Motors to its inception as Carlin Dodge. He was a skilled and creative woodworker, an artisan of many media, and enjoyed gardening. He will always be remembered for his life of grace, honor, dignity, kindness, devotion, and the continued adoration and love of his family and all who knew him.
