George Alexander Adkins went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 4, 2016 at his home in Colorado Springs, Colorado. A lover of sports, reading, and spending time with his family, George exuded a joy about him that was enjoyed by others. Most importantly, he held his Christian faith at the center of his life and this gave purpose to all he did. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Isabelle and Edwin Adkins. He is survived by his wife, Maggy; three children, Daniel (Megan), Kevin, and Elisabeth; as well as two grandsons, Ronan and Wesley.
