Gerald "Jerry" Delbert Albertson

Jerry Albertson of Colorado Springs, Colorado, passed away October 14, 2016. He is preceded in death by his son; Chad Albertson and brother; Jim Albertson.Jerry worked as a facilities manager for more than 25 years for Swedish Medical Center and several other organizations in Denver, Colorado. He loved fishing, riding his Harley, camping and listening to "classic" country songs. Jerry had a wonderful sense of humor, a contagious laugh, and enjoyed life to the fullest. Every day was an adventure. He will be greatly missed by his beloved wife, Mary Kay; daughter; Karla, and grand children; Samantha and Thomas. He will also be missed by his seven brothers and sisters; Betty Jo Gibson, Gene (Denise) Albertson, Carol (Buck) Jones, Dorothy (Joe) Pierce, Debbie (Art) Corbet, Dan Albertson, Steve (Bonnie) Albertson, and Joan Albertson, his sister-in-law. He was a treasured uncle to a great number of nieces and nephews. A celebration of Jerry's life will be held 2:00PM, Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Academy Christian Church, 1635 Old Ranch Road, Colorado Springs, Colorado, 80908.
