Julian Trujillo, Sr., age 78, passed away on May 5, 2016 in Colorado Springs. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.Julian was born on October 7, 1937 in Trinidad, Colorado to the late Feliberto and Aurora (Montoya) Trujillo, Sr. He was a 1957 graduate of Trinidad High School and married Sadie Valdez on December 27, 1967.He was an Air Force veteran who had served in Oklahoma, Spain and England. He was an aircraft mechanic with Ampex Corporation and most recently a Metrology lab tech for the Quantum Corporation.He is survived by his wife: Sadie; his sons: Gabriel Valdez; Travis (Melody) Trujillo; Juno (Lorna) Trujillo; Patrick Trujillo and Carlos (Jaclyn Huber) Trujillo. He has three grandchildren, Cheyenne, Aspen and Jade Trujillo.He is also survived by his brother: Louie Trujillo of San Jose, California and his sister: Lena (Wendell) Gallegos of Denver.Visitation, 12:00PM-1:00PM, Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Trinidad, Colorado. Mass of Christian Burial, 1:00PM, Tuesday, May 10, 2016, Holy Trinity Catholic Church Gymnasium, 206 N. Animas Street, Trinidad, Colorado.
