David LeRoy Saine

David Saine, age 69, a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs passed away on January 21, 2016 at a local care center. He was a heavy equipment operator, a great Dad, grandpa, great grandpa, brother and friend.David LeRoy Saine was born in Colorado Springs on November 28, 1946. He attended school until 1964, married and began to raise a family.He was a grease monkey at heart and loved fast cars, the mechanics of things and racing. He was a Ford fan and loved the Ford Mustang. He will be best remembered for his story telling, his wonderful sense of humor and his taste for candy. His friends called him "Cowboy."He is survived by his three daughters: Suzan (and Johnny) Jones of Colorado Springs; Samantha Saine (and Tim Ashworth) of Colorado Springs; and Heather (and David) Griego of Walsenburg, Colorado. He is also survived by his brothers: Dean (and Rita) Saine of Falcon, Colorado; Paul (and Vi) Saine of Ramah, Colorado and his sister: Ruth Saine of Colorado Springs. Cowboy has thirteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.Memorial Services will be held at 2pm on Saturday, February 6, 2016 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 E. Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
