Colby Richard Dalrymple
July 6th, 1999 - December 14th, 2015
Colby Dalrymple, age 16, died unexpectedly on December 14, 2015. He was a precious son, brother, grandson, nephew and friend. Colby Richard Dalrymple was born in Colorado Springs on July 6, 1999 to Richard and Michelle Dalrymple. He was home schooled through the 6th grade and attended TCA from 7th through 10th grade. Colby was a gifted athlete and played on the High School Football and Baseball team. He was active in Young Life and loved music, art, and acting. His family attended The Black Forest Baptist Church and currently attends Westside Christian.Colby will best be remembered for his infectious smiles, sparkling eyes and hilarious sense of humor. His fun loving gentle spirit was contagious to all; he was a gentleman, patient, kind, and accepting of others. Colby's favorite season of the year was winter. He loved Christmas and snowboarding. He believed in the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and would desire that everyone would receive his free gift of forgiveness for all their sins and then would know the peace that comes from believing in Jesus. He is at home with his Savior.Colby is survived by his parents: Rick and Michelle Dalrymple of Black Forest, his brothers: Bryce and Connor; his grandparents: Walt and Linda Gross of Elizabeth, Colorado, Dick and Annie Jordan of Colorado Springs, Myrna Artuad of Colorado Springs and Jerry and Debbie Dalrymple of Jewell, Kansas. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him dearly. Visitation, 4:30PM- 7:00PM, Sunday, December 20, 2015 at The Springs Funeral Services, 3115 East Platte Avenue, Colorado Springs, Colorado 80909.
