It is said, that there are three words in the English vocabulary that are more solemn than all others. They are Life, Death, and Eternity. Life is more solemn than death; to live, more serious than to die. The object of Christ's death was life. A Christian's death gives them a more abundant life. Death is a joyful messenger of peace, whose kind hand opens to the weary pilgrim the gate of immortality and lets the oppressed go free.A wonderful life came to a close on August 22, 2015, when Sister Angelia Brascom was called to her Heavenly home. Sister Brascom was born in Louisville, Alabama, where she attended public school. She graduated from Louisville High School in Louisville Alabama, and graduated from Colorado Technical University in Colorado Springs, Colorado. She was the proud mother of four children. She was converted to Christ at an early age. Sister Brascom joined the Trinity Missionary Baptist Church, was a loyal and faithful member of this church and a dedicated servant of our outstanding Usher Board. She leaves to cherish her memories, her sons; Tyrone, Jerone and Ricky Brascom, five brothers; Odell (Willie Eva); James L, Johnny (Latoya), Steve and Clifford (Diane); five sisters; Ophelia (Marvin), Mary (Clifton), Deborah (Fred), Betty and Helen. Grandchildren: Tyrick, Javaria, Kmar, Josiah, Asayh, Unique, Tamia, Geoine and Janaysia. A host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbors. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Sarah and Otis Brascom, her son, Barrick Brascom and her brothers, James Otis, Thomas Dean and Larry Brascom. It can be said of Sister Brascom: She never refused to help any worthy cause, but would never forget her church. She was the consummate usher, always on her post, ready to perform her duties, and she performed them with a smile. It seemed that her church and its welfare were always on her mind, and, like David, she was always glad when they said, "Let us go into the house of the Lord."Angie will be buried in Comer, Alabama.Funeral Home:The Springs Funeral Services3115 East Platte AvenueColorado Springs, , COUS 80909 Events Service Monday, August 31, 2015 6:00PM Trinity Baptist Church 617 E.
