L'Jeanne Cimino
June 4th, 1946 - July 23rd, 2015
L'Jeanne Cimino, age 69, a lifelong resident of Colorado Springs, passed away on July 23, 2015, surrounded by her family. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who had retired from City Glass.L'Jeanne Frye was born on June 4, 1946 in Colorado Springs to the late Harold and Aldean (Cain) Frye. She attended schools in Colorado Springs and was a 1964 graduate of Palmer High School. She then married and raised a family.Jeanne was a long-time employee of First National Bank before starting her second career at City Glass where she worked for over 18 years. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Parish for many years.She enjoyed spending time with family, watching the Broncos, trips to Cripple Creek and loved all animals.She is survived by her sons: Richard J. (Cathy) Cimino and Steven L. Cimino of Colorado Springs. Also surviving her is her granddaughter: Raine Cimino and her brother: Robert (Shelley) Frye of Pagosa Springs; her sister: Jari Talbert of Denver and her precious cat: "Abbey."Jeanne also leaves behind her brother-in-law: Albert (Vickie) Cimino of Florissant. Her uncles Jim (Vera) Cain and John (Connie) Cain, her nephew Lucas Frye and her nieces Katherine Gomez (nee Frye), Amber Forney and Kim Dinges. She also has many cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Larry; nephews, Christopher and Kevin Talbert; and niece, Angela Cimino.Memorial Mass, 10:00AM, Wednesday, July 29, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1830 S. Corona Street in Colorado Springs. A luncheon reception will follow at the Eagles Club, FOE Aerie 143, 1050 S. 21st Street.Burial will be private and at a future date.
