Elias Porfirio Quintana

Elias P. Quintana, a longtime resident of Colorado Springs, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Monday, October 13, 2014 at Memorial Hospital.Eli was born to Victor and Maclovia Quintana.He was the beloved husband to Sarah Lightfoot, to whom he was married for 48 years, he loved and cared for her until her death in 2010.He was also a devoted father to Victor (Tracie) and Lisa Quintana, both of Colorado Springs. He was a loving grandfather to Victor II, Tyler, Tierney and Philip; and great-grandfather to Sophia and Serenity. Eli had eleven siblings and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.Eli was employed as a busboy at the Broadmoor Hotel, working his way up to restaurant manager and Maître D' during his 25 year tenure. He managed the L.A.T.C. Bingo for seven years before devoting himself to his wife's care.He enjoyed reading and being a household handyman.
