Joyce Ann Lott

Joyce Lott was born in Boerne, Texas to Anita and John David Griggs. She married Leighton Lott on March 1, 1957 in Rockport, Texas. Joyce and Leighton had two daughters, Debra Elaine born October 17, 1957 and Linda Lee born March 26, 1961. In 1964, the family moved to Louisiana, where Joyce lived until 2005. In Louisiana, Joyce obtained her real estate and broker's license and worked in St. Tammany Parish. She was a student of astrology and metaphysics. It had been her dream to live in the mountains and she moved to Cripple Creek, Colorado in 2005 and she was very happy there. Her health began failing in the last two years of her life and she entered hospice care where she was well attended until her death. She had a great love for her dog Chica and was Elvis's biggest fan.Joyce is survived by two daughters, Linda Lott of Cripple Creek, Colorado and Debra Hasling (Randy) of Slidell, Louisiana; and a granddaughter, Christin Willie of New Orleans, Louisiana.Memorial services will be held at a later date.In lieu of flowers, a contribution can be made to your favorite charity or to Prospect Hospice, 16222 West Highway 24, Suite 120, Woodland Park, CO 80863.Funeral Home:The Springs Funeral Services3115 East Platte AvenueColorado Springs, , COUS 80909
