John Paul Scarbrough was born on Sept. 19, 1953 to John Albert Scarbrough and Melva Mae Schulte in Compton, California and died on Nov. 11, 2013 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.John was a Waste Disposal Supervisor, served in the U.S. Marine Corp and was a member of the American Legion. John was raised and lived the majority of his life in Pratt Kansas. John loved fishing and being outdoors. He is survived by his wife, Joan; two sons, Craig of Hutchinson, Kansas and Steven of Thornton, Colorado; a brother, Jerry of Minneapolis, Kansas; and a sister, Cathy Neuberger of Pratt, Kansas. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
