Frances Ellen Hall

Frances E. Hall passed away on Saturday evening, April 27th, 2013 at University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, Colorado. Frances grew up in Port Chester, NY where she worked at the soda fountain of her parents' corner drug-store. She attended the College of Emporia Kansas, where she graduated with a BA. She married Allan Hall in 1966 and they moved to Colorado Springs in 1972 with their new baby daughter and their cat. Her son was born two years later. Frances Hall was a dedicated mother, who valued intelligence, perseverance, and kindness. She volunteered part time at Evans Elementary where she taught special-needs students. Frances enjoyed taking cruises and visiting her retired parents and her brother in Las Vegas, NV. She was also very proud of her three year old grandson, Isaac. In her free time, she was an avid reader. She was very private but always made people around her smile and laugh. One could not have asked for a more caring and loving mother. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Allan Hall; her son David Hall; her daughter Ellen Carlson; and her grandson Isaac Carlson.
