Jo Ann Wall

I sought the Lord and He heard me and delivered me from all my fears. Ps 34 Jo Ann was born to Jefferson Jackson & Wanda Louise Howard on Oct 7, 1939.She is survived by her five siblings. Ronnie Sue (Dennis) Olson, Richard (June) Howard, Donald (Loni) Howard, Julie (Roy) Rasor, & Tony (Hedy) Howard. Jo Ann married the love of her life Lawrence Wall on November 27, 1957. They shared 55 wonderful years of marriage and were blessed with three children, Darlene (Doug) Haller, Leslie Wall & Shannon (Daniel) Davis.Family was the cornerstone in Jo Ann's life so she was very grateful to have a large one including eleven grandchildren Amanda (Dan) Antoon, Christina (Craig), Natalie (Matt), Terren (Tony), Jacob, Tyler, Yolanda, Allie, Luke (Jessica), Lorren & Angel.Her love for babies was always met with hugs from her 5 beautiful great grandchildren Drake, Aleia, Addison, Audrey and our newest 4 month old Graceyn.In addition to her immediate family there are numerous nieces and nephews who Jo Ann loved and was very close to.Jo Ann worked much of her life in management & office positions. She spent many years at both Skateland and Skate City where she was "Mom" to hundreds of kids. More recently she worked for Spear Engineering and then finally as Co-operator of General Contact service with her husband Larry.In her spare time Jo Ann spent many years in sorority, and painting, crafting crocheting, reading,bird watching and quilting. She was also a member of the Fraternal order of Eagles. Jo Ann never met a stranger and never judged a person by their clothes , tattoos, piercings or crazy hair(although she would often ask why?) she welcomed all walks of life into her home and heart. She made every person feel as though they were family and made them feel comfortable enough to stay...even through broken relationships, once you belong to this family you always belong. Jo Ann went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 11th 2013 after a valiant battle with colon cancer. She will be missed by every life she touched! A full life overflows.
