Martha Teter Davis

Martha was born April 22, 1925 in Eureka, Kansas and died August 7, 2011 in Colorado Springs, Colorado.Martha is survived by her six children, Mary Allie of Colorado Springs, Deborah Raygo of Waukesha, Wisconsin, William Kelly Davis of Colorado Springs, Jeanne (Terry) Smiley of Colorado Springs, Lisa (Gregg Rosenkrantz) McCormick of Kodiak, Alaska, and Rebecca (Jason) Hiller of Bow, Washington. Martha is also survived by nine grandsons, one granddaughter, fifteen great grandchildren, two sisters, Sister Carolyn Teter of Concordia, Kansas and Julia Williams of Tampa, Florida; one sister in-law, Martha Betsher of Eureka, Kansas and many nieces, nephews and cousins.Martha was preceded in death by her husband, David A. Davis; two children, her son, Clark Davis and her daughter, Amy Meadows; her parents, William and Mary (Newby) Teter; one brother, Robert Teter; four sisters, Teresa Pugh, Lois Bitler, Clara Houston and Wilma Dunlap; and twin great grandsons.In 1958, Martha and David moved their family to Colorado Springs from Eureka, Kansas and were longtime residents of Peyton, Colorado Springs, and Fountain, Colorado.
