Victor MokoneNovember 11, 1959 - August 18, 2010Victor Mokone, age 50, went home to be with the Lord at Memorial Hospital in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on Wednesday, August 18, 2010. Born November 11, 1959, in Johannesburg, South Africa.He lived in Colorado Springs, CO, Boston, Paris, all throughout Africa, Germany, and many other countries. He spoke more than 9 Languages. Graduated from College in Germany where he majored in Auto Industry and German before settling in Colorado Springs. He worked many places, owned his own business as a auto mechanic. His last job was as a Patrol Sergeant at Cheyenne Mountain Security until his passing. Victor was a Christian all his life. He was a very good father and a humble man whom loved everyone and had a very kind spirit. Victor is survived by his mother Efodia Mokone Ricks, His father John Milefi Mokone, His wife Debra A. Mokone, Children Leah, Malaika, Christine (Leo), Jack (Espanola), Rena (John), John (Patricia), by grandchildren and by longtime friend "Pops" Rooselvelt.Services will be held at The Springs funeral Services 3115 E Platte Ave. Colorado Springs, CO 80909 (719-328-1793). The Viewing will be held from 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, August 26, 2010. The Funeral will be at 4 p.m. on Friday, August 27, 2010.
