Thomas Martin Carnahan
June 23rd, 1966 - August 22nd, 2023
In Loving Memory of Tom Carnahan Thomas Martin Carnahan passed away on August 22, 2023 at the age of 57. He was born on June 23, 1966 to Ken and Donna Carnahan in Rome, New York. Tom was a beloved husband, brother, son, uncle, and friend, touching the lives of all who knew him. Tom was passionate, funny and had a big heart filled with love for everyone. He loved camping and beach vacations, especially with friends. He developed a passion for hiking the Manitou Incline, achieving a lifetime record of 750 assents, completing his last while battling cancer. Tom never did anything halfway. If he was doing it, he was all in. He will always be remembered for his joy of life, love of family and friends, and pure devotion to his wife. Tom graduated from UCCS, leading to a 25 year career at FedEx that he was proud of. However, it was his first job at The Hungry Farmer that formed and defined the man he was. Someone that made lifelong friends wherever he went, including those he met while working in London. No matter where Tom met people, whether at work or play, they became woven into the fabric of his life. Tom is survived by his wife, Jennifer Carnahan; and his mother, Donna Carnahan. He is also survived by his sister Tracie Hudson (Carnahan) and her children Michael, Sydney, and Billy; and his brother Kevin (Cassie) Carnahan and their son Ayden. Tom is also survived by in-laws who loved him as their own brother, son, and uncle: Deric and Barbara Pamp, Erica Trenholm, Andy (Ashley) Pamp and their daughters Olivia and Sydney, and Anne (Jon) Campbell and their children Layla and Stuart. Last, but most definitely not least, he is survived by the many friends that knew and loved him like family. Tom was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Carnahan; and his father-in-law, Robert Trenholm. Tom loved his fur babies, Max and Titan, and his fur babies over the rainbow bridge - CeCe, Tiger, Pretty Girl - who are snuggling with Tom now. The legacy of Tom’s kindness, wisdom, and warmth will continue to live on through the lives of those he leaves behind. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial contributions be made to Lustgarten Foundation, reflecting Tom’s commitment to finding a cure and early detection of pancreatic cancer - https://events.lustgarten.org/fundraiser/4881026. May his soul rest in peace, and may he find eternal serenity.
