Joseph was born on May 10, 1927 in Lorain, Ohio. Joseph was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. He was a member of B.P.O.E. #1301, V.F.W., and life member of the American Legion Post #0118 in Amherst, Ohio. He was also a member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church in North Port.. Joseph is survived by his wife, Doris; a son, Dean (Laura) Kerekes of Marietta, Georgia and a daughter, Janet Kerekes (Sam) Vogel of Columbus, Ohio. He also leaves behind two grandchildren.
