Ana Zula, 79, of North Port, Florida, formerly of Chicago, Illinois, passed away on January 3, 2022. She was born on July 29, 1942, in Lokve, Serbia to her parents, Antonije and Natalija Muncean. Ana was a devoted member of the Apostolic Christian Church (Nazarene) in North Port, Florida. She was also a beloved and respected member of the Romanian and Serbian immigrant communities in Chicago and Sarasota areas, as well as the community in general. In the 1970's she realized her long standing goal of coming to America. Ever being a fighter, as a single mother, she worked very hard to achieve her American dream, serving God, providing for her family in the States and in the old country, as well as contributing to the communities where she lived. Ana will be remembered and missed by many as a loving, caring and generous person. She is preceded in death by her parents, Antonije and Natalija Muncean and sister, Juliana Skumpia; husband, Jon Ardeljan. Ana is survived by her loving children, Jon Ardeljan of Chicago, Illinois, and Margareta Ardeljan (Andjelko) Komlenac of Lake Forest, Illinois; granddaughter, Ana Komlenac of Lake Forest, Illinois. A public visitation will be held from 1:00PM-2:00PM with the funeral service at 2:00PM on Friday, January 7, 2022, at Farley Funeral Home, 5900 South Biscayne Drive, North Port, Florida 34287. Services conclude. Interment at Montrose Cemetery, Chicago, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent to Apostolic Christian Church (Nazarene)- 8064 West Price Blvd., North Port, Florida 34286.
