Ronald F Meyer of Venice, FL passed away on September 23, 2021. Born on August 25, 1942, to Charles and Mildred Meyer in Astoria, NY. Ronald was one of four children. After completing his education, he went on to serve his country proudly in the United States Air Force. Upon returning home he married the love of his life Joanne. Ronald has a fulfilling career as part of the Local 200 as a Union Plumber for 30 years. In 2000, Joanne and Ronald relocated to Florida. He was an avid member of the East Islip Anglers for 40 years. He is survived by his beloved wife Joanne Meyer. As well as by is siblings: Doreen Allen of East Islip, NY, Delores Theoharis of New York, NY and Charles Meyer of Arizona. Ronald also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 11am at Epiphany Cathedral Catholic Church in Venice, FL. He will be laid to rest a Sarasota National Cemetery on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 1pm. In lieu of flowers the family asks that you consider making a donation in Ronald's honor to Tunnel to Towers, www.t2t.org.
