Elizabeth ""Betti"" Lacroix, 74, of North Port, Florida, formerly of Somerset, Massachusetts, passed away on June 28, 2021. She was born on July 5, 1946 in Fall River, Massachusetts to her parents, James and Rita Ford. She was a 1964 graduate of Dighton High School and also Johnson and Wales, majoring in business management. Betti had a very successful career as a Regional Property Manager for Property Advisory Group in Rhode Island. During retirement, she was an Assistant Manager for Charlton Cay Apartments in Port Charlotte. She is preceded in death by her parents; brother, James A. Ford; grandson, Jordan Medeiros. Betti is survived by her loving husband of 48 years, Maurice R. Lacroix; daughter, Lisa (Paul) Vasconcellos; daughter Christine Rice; son, Richard (Tina) Lacroix, daughter, Michelle (Richard) Rego; grandchildren, Joshua Vasconcellos, Staysha Rego, Jared Rego, and Derrick Rego. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at San Pedro Catholic Church, 14380 Tamiami Trail, North Port, Florida 34287. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be sent in Betti's memory to the American Lung Association, https://www.lung.org/ or the American Heart Association, https://www.heart.org/ Arrangements by Farley Funeral Home, North Port, Florida.
