Joseph R (Joe) Procopio Jr 79 of Venice Florida beloved husband of Marcia ( Tenerowicz ) Procopio passed away unexpectedly Tuesday December 15th 2020 at Bayfront Health Hospital, Port Charlotte Florida. Born in Springfield Massachusetts June 18th, 1941. Son of the late Joseph R Sr and Gertrude (O'Brien) Procopio. He grew up in Windsor Locks Connecticut and spent most of his life there before moving to Venice Florida. Joe and his wife Marcia built a marriage that was filled with love, respect and happiness that they both knew would last forever, together they spent time traveling from their retirement home in Florida to Connecticut where they enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Before retiring he had been employed at the former Roncari Industries of East Granby, Ct for 52 years. Joe had the personality of a very calm and quiet person, always willing to listen and will be missed tremendously by many. He is survived by three loving children, Page Mondazzi of Suffield Ct, AnnMarie Procopio of Somers Ct and Eric Procopio and his wife April of Windsor Locks Ct. Three Sisters Maureen Taravella of East Windsor Ct, Cynthia Bobbie Kumins of East Granby Ct and Patricia Luby and her husband James of Windsor Locks Ct and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Joe was predeceased by a son Joseph R (Joey) Procopio 3rd. A Memorial service will be at the convenience of the family at a later date.
