ZERBE, Joyce M. age 87, of North Port, FL passed away on January 27, 2019. Joyce was born on Sep 27, 1931 to parents Harold W. Esrey and Florence M. Glaeser. She grew up on Spar Hill Farm in South Chester County, PA. Later on she graduated from Kennett High School in Kennett Square, PA and went on to graduate from Goldey Business School. Before continuing her education, she worked at the Department of Health in Harrisburg, PA where she retired in 1991. Afterwards she graduated from Florida Southern College, with a Bachelor of Liberal Studies in 1995. Joyce was a member of The Sistas, Heron Creek Golf & Country Club and past ""Queen Mum"" of the Red Hot Herons. Joyce is survived by husband, Maynard Zerbe of 27 years; two step-daughters, Kristen Sanders of Front Royal, VA and Lynne (Richard) Maudlin of Las Vegas, NV; one step granddaughter, Holly Nostro of Las Vegas, NV; two step great grandchildren Jessica and Alexander Nostro of Las Vegas, NV; and three cousins, Barbara Truehart (Richard) of North Port, FL, Linda Haney (Robert) of Bedminster, PA, and Harry Glaeser (Georgianna) of Ivyland, PA. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 9AM to 12PM at Farley Funeral Home, 5900 S. Biscayne Dr., North Port, FL 34287, 941-426-2880. In lieu of flowers a donation may be made in Joyce's name to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at Memorial and Honor Gifts, P.O.
