Mary Lou Raeburn, age 96, of Venice, FL passed away on September 22, 2018. She was born in Evansville, IN on February 17, 1922 to Frank and Margaret Weldele. Mary Lou was a proud veteran of the US Army. After her military service, she married Frank Raeburn and settled in Venice. Mary Lou spent many hours as a ""Pink Lady"" volunteer at Venice Hospital. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 1976. She is survived by nephew Charles ""Pete"" Peterson ,wife Carole of Venice and their daughter Cynthia; nephew Frank Peterson, wife Ashley of Thornhurst, PA and their children Chris Peterson, Roccena Gunsogolley (Chris), and John (Traci) Peterson; nephew Phil Pisani, wife Gloria of Hinsdale, IL and their children James Pisani (Danielle), Dean Pisani (Jackie), and Guy Pisani (Jennifer); nephew Richard Pisani of Hinsdale, IL and his son R.J. Pisani; niece Sharon Appel of Tampa, FL; and niece Joyce Faeth of Sarasota, FL. Services will be private. Memorial donations can be directed to the Salvation Army or the Loveland Center in Venice.
