Leona Agnes (Neely) Benevenga, age 77 of North Port, FL (formerly of Garfield, NJ) passed away on Tuesday, October 3rd, 2017. Beloved wife of Vito (predeceased) of 59 yrs., sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Leona is survived by her brother Howard, son Vito Jr. and his wife Maria, son Michael and his wife Rosemary, son Frank and his wife Wendy, daughter Roseann and her husband Dennis, son James and his wife Mary. Grandchildren, Leona, Christina, Vita, Dennis, Michael, Justin, Erica, and Danielle. Great grandchildren, Gabriella, Siena, Tyler, Jacob, Andrew Wallace and Alessandra. Leona will be missed by her family and friends, from Florida to NJ to Kansas. She has touched so many lives. We will honor her memory for years to come.
