Deedrie Dwyer "Dee Dee" Jepsen
November 29th, 1944 - July 13th, 2017
Deedrie Dwyer Jepsen passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 in the arms of God. She preferred to be called Dee Dee. She has lived a full and wonderful life. Dee Dee was a schoolteacher for 30 years in the Ritenour school district, St. Louis, MO. She is survived by her loving husband John G. Jepsen, two wonderful stepsons; John G. Jepsen Jr. and William Matthew Jepsen, two adorable granddaughters; Amanda Nicole Wandling, and Krystal Dawn Jepsen; two nephews: David Bellaire with devoted spouse Sara Bellaire, a great-niece Lindsey Bellaire, a great-nephew Jackson Bellaire, and Robert Louis Bellaire with his loving wife Kristen Bellaire, and two great-nephews: Thomas Bellaire and John Bellaire, and a loving niece Nicole Marie Downer and her husband Chris, and children Abie, Michaela, Livvy, and Gray. Dee Dee was active at the Venice Yacht club, where her husband John served as Commodore in 2009. Dee Dee served on the board for Rotary Futures College Resource Center, and many committees at Pelican Pointe Golf and Country Club. She loved teaching Mah Jongg and working on the original Social Committee. She was guided through life by God’s gentle touch and tried to follow the path He set out for her. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Tidewell Hospice House, Venice Charitable Foundation, and/or Rotary Futures College Resource Center. Dee Dee is predeceased by her parents David A. Dwyer and Shirley Jean Dwyer and sister Karen Diane Bellaire. There will be a mass service held at Epiphany Church in the back chapel on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. Following the mass, there will be a Celebration of Life at the Venice Yacht Club. Everyone is welcome. Burial at sea ceremony will be held at a later date.
