Margaret E. Marcolini, 95, passed away peacefully surrounded by family in Venice, Florida on March 2, 2017. She was born August 21, 1921 in Kingsford, Michigan and living in Iron Mountain, Michigan until meeting and marrying her husband, Adolph Marcolini and moving to Brooklyn Heights, New York. There she raised three children while helping in the family business, Marcolini Wines & Liquors. In 1972, they moved to Nokomis, Florida where she enjoyed participating in bowling leagues and the sewing group of Sorrento East. The family loved the beach and spent many fun times at Coney Island, New York and at the Nokomis Beach in Florida. Margaret was preceded in death by parents, Herman and Elizabeth Reiten; brother Skitz and wife Teresa Reiten; sisters June and husband Evo Santoni, Beverly and husband Bill Marchetti; and daughter Elizabeth (Liz) Marcolini. Margaret is survived by her sons John Marcolini and wife Andrea Demetropoulos of Brooklyn, New York, James and Teresa Marcolini of Nokomis, Florida; son-in-law Jack Fahey of Latham, New York; many nieces and nephews; and cousins, as well as family in Norway. Services: A private Celebration of Life was held by her surviving children.
