Betty Mae Anderson, age 85, of Venice, FL, passed away on January 21, 2017. She was born in Landover, MD on April 10, 1931 to Minnie (Schneehagen) and John Martin. She worked as an administrative assistant in a physics laboratory and owned the All American Bottled Water company. Betty is predeceased by her husband Eugene Lee Anderson, and son Martin Lee Anderson. Surviving family members include her daughter Sharon M. (Michael) Schott of Venice, FL; grandson Sean (April) Kidwell; granddaughter Heather (Danny) Gomez; great-grandson Christian Gomez; great-granddaughters Skylar and Sierra Kidwell, Kora Behr, and Isabella Gomez; and daughter-in-law Michelle Anderson. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 3277 A Fruitville Road, Sarasota, FL 34237. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
