Joseph John Jankowski, age 72, born in Nowack, NJ, son of the late Veronica A. Nowacki & Joseph J. Jankowski. Brother of Lorraine Barkalow (deceased), brother-in-law of Edward Barkalow. Husband of Alice, Father of Joseph John, James Vincent, John Brian, twins-Marion Ann and Michael Allen, and son Ray Likimani. Father-in-law of Dorothy, Patricia, Melonye, and Janice Jankowski. Grandfather of, Courtney, Joseph John, James, Dacota, Jackson, Trey, Amber and Veronica, Adam, Matt, and the late Ginny Eason. He is Great Grandfather to 11 Great Grandchildren and six Granddoggers. Mr. Jankowski lived in Clifton, NJ for 29 years, moving to southwestern PA in 1973 and relocating to SW Florida in 1983. Mr. Jankowski was a member of San Pedro Catholic Church in North Port, Fl. He was an incredibly gifted building contractor and master carpenter who loved spending time with his family & friends. He was a big hearted person who would do anything to help anyone in need. His favorite expression was “It will all work out”. In lieu of flowers, his family requests that donations be sent to San Pedro Roman Catholic Church, St. Jude Children’s Hospital and Hospice of SW FL. Visitation at Farley Funeral Home in North Port on Monday, October 3rd from 2PM-4PM and from 6PM-9PM. Mass to be held Tuesday, October 4th, at San Pedro Roman Catholic Church in North Port at 10AM following with a Repass at Olde World Restaurant in North Port.
