Charles William Foege, born January 29, 1943, beloved husband of Patricia V. Foege, passed away on September 1, 2016. Charles and Patricia were married for 52 years. He was the loving and devoted father of four children, Paul, Timothy, Charles, and Debbie, and three wonderful daughters-in-law's, Karen, Danielle, and Maggie. He is also survived by seven grandchildren. Charles and his wife Patricia, formerly from Long Island, NY, retired to Venice, FL in 2006, where Charles joyfully volunteered for eight years on the scenery crew at the Venice Theater. Before retiring, Charles spent 42 years working in New York City and Long Island as a Computer Engineer. Charles was active in the boy scouts with his sons where he served as a troop leader. He also loved to sing and was actively involved in the Smithtown Presbyterian Church choir on Long Island, and when he retired he joined the choir at the Venice Presbyterian Church, where he attended services with his wife Patricia. There will be a memorial service in the Chapel at the Venice Presbyterian Church on Saturday, October 8th at 11:30AM with a reception to follow. Charles will be interred in the Memorial Garden at Venice Presbyterian Church.
