Elizabeth Mary Donoghue, age 65, of Venice, Florida, passed away suddenly and peacefully on August 28, 2016. She was born on August 10, 1951 in Rockville Centre, New York and raised in Rockville, Maryland. During that time she was a member of St. Mary's Catholic School and Church. Beth moved to Venice, Florida in 1973 where she became a member of Epiphany Catholic Church. Beth was a graduate of St. Mary's Catholic School, Holy Cross Academy and Sarasota Vo-Tech School of Nursing. In 1974, Beth started her nursing career at Venice Hospital followed by Venice Walk-In Medical Center. Her caring for others never stopped. Beth loved her family, Jesus and travelling with her mother. She was the family historian, photographer and loved walking the beach with her dog George, looking for sharks teeth. Beth is survived by her seven siblings; Lee (Debbie), Connie Snyder, Jack (Paula), Kathy, Robert (Sharon), Matthew (Karen) and Patrick; sixteen nieces and nephews, six great nieces and nephews and also her extended family of beloved aunts, uncles and cousins. Beth was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Leo J. and Constance B. Donoghue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Epiphany Cathedral on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 11:00AM with Rev.
