Patricia Marie Baldwin

Patricia Marie Baldwin, 75, formerly of Williamsport, PA went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 19, 2016 in her home in Venice, FL. Born on January 15, 1941 in Williamsport, she was the daughter of Joseph and Lillian (Bailey) Trudeau. Paddy was a 1958 graduate of Williamsport High School and a 1985 graduate of the Williamsport Area Community College, now Pennsylvania College of Technology. Paddy started her career at Northern Central Bank, which eventually became Commonwealth Bank, in Williamsport. She rose through the ranks in banking, and was instrumental in organizing one of the first banking divisions for women called ""Women - Bank on Us"", where married women could open their own bank accounts. In 1982, she moved to Williamsport Area Community College to start the College's new Word Processing department. She spent 2 weeks at IBM with a computer and a stack of manuals to learn word processing. She then moved into the position of helpdesk coordinator, where she stayed until she retired. Paddy was a devout Methodist and a member of Faxon-Kenmar United Methodist in Williamsport and Christ United Methodist in Venice, FL. She remained active with the organization of the WAHS Class of 1958 reunion committee. She loved to play golf and cards, garden, sing, read, travel and create oil paintings. Her biggest joy was her family. Surviving are a daughter, Heather Baldwin Allison (Daniel) of Montoursville, a son Michael Baldwin, Sr. (Jennifer) of Absecom, NJ, and five grandchildren: Kane and Connor McLean and Michael, Genevieve and Lyndsea Baldwin, and a sister Pamela Nagy (Andrew) of Montoursville. She was also especially close with her niece, Lisa Waldman Copenhaver (Greg) of State College, as well as many other family members and friends throughout the United States. A Celebration of Life was held with many of her close friends from Florida on Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at Farmington Estates in Venice, officiated by Pastor Mike Hudson. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 10 at Sanders Mortuary in Williamsport, with visitation from 10 - 11 a.m. Burial will be in Elimsport Cemetery.
