Clarence A. Weigle
July 29th, 1932 - June 26th, 2016
Clarence A. Weigle, 83, of Venice, FL, formerly of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, died on June 26, 2016. Clarence was born on July 29, 1932 to Lester and Eliza (nee Glessner) Weigle in Listie, PA. He was a veteran of the US Army and an electrician with IBEW Local 5 Pittsburgh. Clarence was also a member of the Masonic Lodge. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Norma Jean Weigle, of Venice, FL; son Ed Weigle and wife Colleen of Venice, FL; granddaughter Colleen Forsee and husband Peter of Alexandria, VA; grandsons Zachary and Patrick and great-granddaughter, Cylleen. He leaves behind sister Betty Alumbaugh of Somerset, PA; sister Marilyn Cramer of Springdale, PA and brother Guy ""Smoky"" Weigle of Spring Grove,VA, plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mr. Weigle was predeceased by his parents, brother Delbert ""Sonny"" Weigle and sisters Ruth Barndt, Hazel Hicks and Verda Lopez. A Memorial Gathering will be held on Saturday, July 30th from 11AM - 1PM at Farley Funeral Home Venice Chapel. The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Tidewell Hospice of Venice, FL and The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
