Jean S. Will, 91, of Venice passed away peacefully at home on June 24, 2016 with caring family by her side. Jean became the family matriarch at age 16 when her mother passed away. She was very proud to be living in the same house her brother, John Sleasman, built in Venice in the 1950s. Jean worked at the Early Childhood Center in Venice as an assistant teacher for over 20 years, touching the lives of many families in our community. Preceded in death by her grandson Michael in 1990 and her husband Bill in 1995, Jean is survived by her loving children Sue Bensen Klinger, Bob Will, and Tammy Beebe, all of Venice; grandchildren James, Derek, J.D., Jennifer, Ashlei, & Erin; and 12 cherished great grandchildren. Jean was an avid sports fan, and rarely missed a grandchild's game! Jean's life will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 9th at Grace United Methodist Church in Venice. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Grace Preschool at Grace U.M.C. in Venice. Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel is caring for arrangements. This will be a private event for her family.
