Jerome ""Jerry"" M. Carollo of Venice, FL was born in New York City. He grew up I Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. He was a World War II Army veteran, service in the Panama Canal Zone. After the war, he worked for the US Department of Defense until he retired. He moved to Venice, FL from Warren, NJ with his wife of 43 years, Mildred. He was a long time member of the Jacaranda Golf and Country Club. Jerry enjoyed travel, especially trips to his favorite place, Italy, and wine. He was predeceased by his daughter Lisa Parsons and his sister Louise DuMont. Jerry leaves behind his wife Mildred (nee Puzo); his son Jerome (Pamela) and grandchildren Dana and Jerry. His many nieces and nephews, including Ronald Nittoli (Anita) of Venice, with miss Uncle Jerry as well as his many fiends who enjoyed life as he did. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Epiphany Cathedral on Thursday, June 23rd at 11 AM. Burial will be at Sarasota National Cemetery.
