Jacqueline Linda Whatley, age 92, of, Venice, died on May 17, 2016. She was born in Perry, FL, on March 30, 1924, to Haddie Denmark and Thomas ""Jack"" Fraser, and came to this area from Miami in 1984. She was a homemaker and a member of South Venice Baptist Church. Survivors include her granddaughter, Angela Whatley Kleman and her husband Ross, and great-grandchildren Audrey and Owen, all of Decatur, GA; grandson Derek J. Whately of Las Vegas, NV; and daughter-in-law Pamela Whatley of Peachtree City, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband James H. Whatley and their only child son James W. Whatley, who died only ten days previously. Friends may call from 11 AM - 12 PM on Tuesday, May 24th, at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Funeral Services will follow at 12 PM. Burial will be private Memorial donations may be made to South Venice Baptist Church, 3167 Englewood Road, Venice, FL 34293.
