Diaana D. Metcalf of Venice, FL passed away April 3, 2016 after a four month courageous battle with cancer. Diaana was born December 19, 1954 in Athens, Greece to Pigi (Podara) and Athanasios Zafeirakis. She was preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, William E. Metcalf and her mother, Pigi Zafeirakis. Survivors include her beloved husband, Gregory Rose; her father, Athanasios Zafeirakis; children: Duane Douglas, Joshua Metcalf, and Shana Metcalf; grandchildren: Christa Douglas, William Metcalf, Nadia Douglas, Jasmine Henning, and Nicholas Henning; and one great grandchild, Elijah Higbee. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 2-3 PM with Funeral Service at 3 PM, Saturday, April 9th at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. Memorial Donations may be made through GoFundMe.com in loving memory of Diaana Metcalf.
