Theresa Marino, 87, of NorthPort, formerly of New York passed away February 8, 2016 with her family by her side. Theresa was born in Manhattan on February 23, 1928 to Joseph & Josephine (Destafano) Buonconsiglio. She spent her life caring for her family. Theresa was also a member of San Pedro Parish in NorthPort. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Crespino in 2010, Theresa is survived by her sons John & Joseph, both of North Port, daughter-in-law Ruth of North Port, granddaughters Samantha Marino of North Port, Heather Guck of Clovis, NM, Tara Marino of North Port, & Trista Marino of North Port, and sister Greta Pezzino of Bradenton. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Visitation will be Tuesday, February 16th from 2:00 until 4:00pm and 6:00 until 8:00pm at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at San Pedro Catholic Church at 10:00am on Wednesday, February 17th. She will be laid to rest with her husband in Sarasota National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, her family requests memorial contributions be made to TideWell Hospice, Inc., 220 Wexford Blvd., Venice, FL34293.
