Dorothy E. Lane, 87, of Venice, FL passed away October 16, 2015. Dorothy was born April 26, 1928 in Maspeth, NY to Sophie (Glinka) and Julius Roman. A member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, Wives of US Submarine Veterans and American Legion #159. Survivors include her beloved husband, John ""Jack"" Lane; son, Ronald (wife, Edith) of Brownsville, TX and granddaughter, Rona Jae ""R.J."" Habig of Madison, AL. Visitation will be from 1-3 PM, Sunday, October 18th at Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 AM, Monday, October 19th at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church with burial to follow at Venice Memorial Gardens.
