Betty R. Lillie passed away on Saturday, July 18, 2015, in Venice, Florida at the age of 94. She is survived by her daughters, Joan Condon, and Diane (Robert) Lagerman, her son Ross Lillie, 6 grandchildren, Steve (Amy) Vesely, Scott (Linda) Vesely, Bryan Vesely, Erin Carter, and Erica Lagerman, as well as 5 great grandchildren: Sarah and Julia Vesely, Joey, Steven, and Alexander Vesely, and Jack Carter. Betty is survived by her sister Beverly Zurich of Chicago, one of her eight siblings. Betty loved life and always said, ""You have a choice of how to live your lifeâ¦you can choose to ride it as on a merry-go-round orâ¦you can choose to ride life as you would a roller coaster."" She chose the latter. Betty, our mom, grandma, great-grandma, and friend will be greatly missed. Memorials may be given in her name to charities of the giver's choice. At the request of family, all services will be held privately. Farley Funeral Home in Venice is handling the arrangements.
