Rita M. Sullivan, age 92, of North Port and formerly of Venice, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2015 after a brief illness. She was born on November 25, 1922 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Rita loved her family and friends and was passionate about playing BINGO. She was also a devoted Catholic. Rita is survived by her son Robert W. Sullivan and his wife Susan of North Port. She was preceded in death by her husband, John, her parents, Henry and Flora Croteau and her brother, Roland Croteau. There are no services planned at this time. Memorial donations may be made to Tidewell Hospice Inc., 5955 Rand Blvd., Venice, Florida 34238. Farley Funeral Home in North Port is handling the arrangements.
