Roy J. Trumbull, 93 of Venice, FL, formerly of Brookfield, WI, was born to eternal life on March 7, 2015. He now rests with his Lord and Savior, Jesus. Roy was born April 19, 1921 in Milwaukee, WI to Clara Kuether and Ralph Trumbull. A veteran of the United States Navy, Roy graduated from Duke University with a degree in Electrical Engineering. Roy, a Professional Engineer, worked for Wisconsin Bell Telephone Company for 37 years before retiring in 1982. Roy married his wife, Millie in 1945 upon discharge from the Navy and lived to celebrate 69 years of marriage with her. Roy had many interests, but none as important as his church and his family. He is survived by his wife, Mildred nee Felske, His daughters Linda (Polzin) and Susan (Weis); his brother Clyde Trumbull; His sons in law Thomas Polzin and Christian Weis, and his grandchildren Trevor Weis and Hannah Weis and Trevor's wife Katy. Interment will be at Good Hope Cemetery in Greenfield, WI. A gravesite memorial will be scheduled later for family and friends. Memorial Donations may be made to Lakeside Lutheran Church in Venice, FL.
