Francis Irene Newberry, 93, of Venice, FL passed away January 17, 2015. Frances was born in Boody, Illinois and attended Stephen Decatur High School. Frances was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, a member of the Elks Does, a life member of the Moose Auxiliary and a member of the American Legion Auxilliary. Survived by husband, John ""Jack"" M. Newberry; son James P. Hawkins, Jr. (Karen); granddaughters: Tamara Flournory (Geoffrey), Taunya Baker (Kent), and Jennifer Hughes (Kevin); 6 great-grandchildren: Joshua Lopez, Madison Lopez, Jeremy Baker, Jessica Baker, Morgan Flournory, and Connor Flournory. A graveside Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 AM. Saturday, January 24 at Venice Memorial Gardens.
