Josephine Burke, age 84, of North Port, died on January 3, 2015. She was born in Bronx, NY, and came to North Port 21 years ago to stay close to her family. She is survived by her son, Kevin, daughter Deirdre and son-in-law- James Rhodes of North Port; grandchildren Michael Burke, Danny Burke, Matthew Henry, Aileen Brown, James Rhodes III, Brittany Rhodes, and Siobhan Rhodes; and 3 great grandchildren. Josephine was preceded in death by her son Patrick Burke. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at San Pedro Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 13th at 11 AM.
