Ruth A. Costa, age 82, of North Port, passed away on December 18, 2014. She was born in Bremen, ME on November 3, 1932. Ruth was a High School Business Teacher in Taunton and Norton, MA for 17 years before retiring in 1992. She moved from Dighton, MA to North Port that same year. Ruth was a member of the Dighton Baptist Church and attended Colonial Baptist Church in Venice. She loved travel, crafts and Bingo. Ruth loved her family, and was a devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her husband, Raymond Everett Costa of North Port; sons Raymond F. Costa (Alice) of Taunton, MA, Timothy T. Costa, Sr. (Jean) of Dighton, MA, and Peter J. Costa (Karen) of Dartmouth, MA; daughter Deborah Costa Tyler (Thomas L., Sr. ) of Norwich, NY; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Services will be private. Memorial donations may be made to a wounded veteran's service in your area.
