Jessica Rose Costanzo, age 23, of Venice, became an angel on November 20, 2014. She was born in Sarasota on September 30, 1991. Jessica graduated from the Epiphany School in 2006 and Venice High School in 2010. She was attending Webber International University, studying Sports Management. Jessica played volleyball for four years at Venice High, and varsity and beach volleyball at Webber. She also played freshman basketball at Venice High. Jessica loved music, all sports and being at the beach. She was an avid Yankees baseball fan. Surviving family members include her parents, Mark and Marguerite Costanzo of Venice; maternal grandparents Dorothy Onofrio of Venice, FL and Vincent Onofrio (Eileen) of New Haven, CT; aunts Susan Afeltra (Jerry) of Naperville, IL, and Charlene Mason of East Haven, CT; uncles Vincent Costanzo (Elaine) of West Haven, CT, Robert Costanzo (Rose) of Branford, CT, and Ronald Costanzo (Norma) Charlotte, NC; and many cousins. She was preceded in death by grandparents Charles and Immaculate Costanzo. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 23rd from 3 - 7 PM at Farley Funeral Home in Venice. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Epiphany Cathedral on Monday, November 24th at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Venice Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorial donations should be made to the Epiphany Cathedral School.
