Ruth Laura Bohman, 86, of Venice, FL, formerly of Chicago, IL, died on August 16, 2014. Ruth was secretary for MacLean Fogg Lock-Nut Co. in Mundelein, IL for 20 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Englewood, FL and was very involved with her church. She was also a member of TOPS. She loved to travel, she dearly loved and cared for her family and friends, and will be greatly missed. Survivors include her son, Howard (Catherine) Steinfath of Estes Park, CO; daughter Kathleen (Edward) Rechisky of Richmond, IL; son John Steinfath of Englewood, FL; step-daughter Patricia (John) Vedral of Nokomis, FL and their children, Allison and John Vedral; grandchildren Lon, Corey and Casey Steinfath, Russ Hoppe, Jennifer Heimos, and Nicholas Hoppe, and Joshua, Nicole, Meloni, and Racheal Steinfath; 25 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Bohman. Celebration of Life Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Englewood, 278 S.
